nergy-saving Innovation: New Power Transmission and Distribution Equipment Boosts Efficiency and Cost Reduction of Power Systems

With the continuous advancement of new power system construction, energy saving, low loss and high stability have become the core development trends of power transmission and distribution equipment. At present, four mainstream power distribution equipment, including oil-immersed power transformers, dry-type power transformers, high and low voltage distribution cabinets, and box-type substations, have achieved comprehensive performance optimization to meet the energy-saving and consumption-reducing needs of power grid renovation, new energy grid connection and industrial power distribution scenarios.

The upgraded oil-immersed power transformers adopt optimized core and winding technology, which greatly reduces no-load loss and load loss with higher heat dissipation efficiency. They can operate stably for a long time in outdoor power grids, large industrial parks and new energy power stations, effectively cutting long-term operation and maintenance energy consumption. Adopting high-performance flame-retardant insulating materials, dry-type power transformers have no oil loss or pollution risks and lower operating energy consumption, suitable for closed scenarios such as urban buildings, indoor power distribution rooms and commercial residential areas.

High and low voltage distribution cabinets are equipped with intelligent energy-saving control modules to accurately distribute electric energy, reduce line loss and optimize power distribution load in real time. Box-type substations adopt a compact integrated design, reducing equipment occupation and redundant line loss. The modular structure effectively lowers engineering construction and later operation costs. The iterative upgrading of the four types of equipment provides solid equipment support for the green and low-carbon development of the power industry and the efficient and stable operation of power systems.
